We cover all major and minor Indian ports across both the East and West coasts. This includes Kandla, Mundra, Mumbai, JNPT, Cochin, Tuticorin, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Paradip, and Kolkata, among others.
3. Can you deliver to vessels at anchorage?
Yes. We arrange certified supply boats and barges to deliver provisions, technical stores, and bunker fuel to vessels waiting at anchorage or Outer Anchorage (OPL) across all major ports.
4. How quickly can you process an emergency supply request?
For critical stores and fresh provisions, we offer a rapid 12-to-24-hour turnaround time at major hub ports (like Mumbai and Kandla), subject to port authority clearances and local availability.
5. Are you an ISO certified company?
Yes, Honest Shipping operates under strict ISO Quality Management System guidelines, ensuring consistent quality, environmental responsibility, and occupational health and safety across all our operations.
6. How do I request a quotation?

Ship Chandling & Provisions

7. What types of food provisions do you supply?
We supply everything a vessel needs: fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, frozen meats, poultry, seafood, dairy products, dry stores, spices, canned goods, and specialized ethnic foods catering to multinational crews.
8. How do you ensure the freshness of provisions?
We utilize a strict cold-chain logistics system. Perishables are stored in our climate-controlled warehouses and transported to the vessel in our fleet of refrigerated trucks, ensuring the cold chain is maintained until delivery to the ship's freezer.
9. Do you supply bonded stores?
Yes, we provide a wide range of duty-free bonded stores including international brands of tobacco, spirits, wines, beers, confectioneries, and personal care items for the crew's slop chest.
10. Can you accommodate specific dietary requirements?
Absolutely. We routinely cater to Halal, Kosher, vegetarian, and vegan dietary requirements. Please specify crew nationalities and dietary needs when submitting your provision requisition.
11. Do you supply medical stores?
Yes, we supply WHO-compliant medical chests, prescription medicines (with required doctor prescriptions), first aid kits, and surgical equipment sourced from licensed marine pharmacies.
12. Do you use IMPA/ISSA codes?
Yes, our entire inventory and quoting system is standardized around the International Marine Purchasing Association (IMPA) and International Shipsuppliers & Services Association (ISSA) catalogs to ensure absolute accuracy.

Technical & Marine Supplies

13. Do your mooring ropes come with certificates?
Yes, all critical hardware including mooring ropes, wire slings, and cargo gear are supplied with genuine manufacturer mill certificates, load test certificates, and class society approvals where applicable.
14. Are your pilot ladders SOLAS compliant?
Absolutely. We supply SOLAS and MED (Wheelmark) approved pilot and embarkation ladders that strictly conform to ISO 799 standards.
15. Can you refill industrial gas cylinders?
Yes, we offer refill and exchange services for Oxygen, Acetylene, Freon (refrigerants), and Nitrogen cylinders. We also handle hydrostatic testing of cylinders.
16. Do you supply engine spare parts?
We supply a wide range of consumable engine stores (valves, gaskets, bearings, tools, lubricants). For specific OEM machinery spare parts, we can source them through our global network, though lead times may vary.
17. Can you deliver marine paints and chemicals?
Yes, we stock major brands of marine paints, antifouling coatings, tank cleaning chemicals, and water treatment chemicals.

Bunker & Water Supply

18. What grades of marine fuel do you supply?
We supply all ISO 8217 compliant grades, primarily focusing on VLSFO (Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil), LSMGO (Low Sulphur Marine Gas Oil), and MGO.
19. How do you guarantee bunker quantity and quality?
We use calibrated flow meters for quantity. For quality, continuous drip samples are taken at the vessel's manifold during pumping, which are sealed and signed by the Chief Engineer and our representative.
20. Is the fresh water you supply safe for drinking?
Yes, we source our fresh water from municipal port authorities. It is chlorinated and potable. We also supply bottled mineral water in various capacities for direct crew consumption.
21. Can you supply bunker via barge?
Yes, we coordinate bunker barges for ship-to-ship transfers at anchorage, as well as road tankers for vessels alongside the berth.

Safety & Tank Cleaning

22. Can you arrange annual servicing for life rafts?
Yes, we partner with class-approved servicing stations to inspect, service, and recertify life rafts, fire extinguishers, and breathing apparatus while your vessel is in port.
23. Do you supply Pyrotechnics?
Yes, we supply fresh stocks of SOLAS-approved parachute rockets, hand flares, smoke signals, and line-throwing appliances with maximum validity periods.
24. What types of tank cleaning do you perform?
We perform hatch hold cleaning for bulk carriers (e.g., coal to grain sweeps) and cargo tank cleaning/chemical washing for product and chemical tankers to wall-wash standards.
25. Do you handle garbage and sludge removal?
Yes, we provide MARPOL-compliant waste management services including sludge oil removal, garbage disposal, and scrap/dunnage clearance, complete with official port disposal certificates.

Billing & Credit Terms

26. Do you offer credit facilities?
Yes! Honest Shipping offers a standard 30-day credit facility for all approved ship owners, fleet managers, and management companies to assist with cash flow.
27. How can a new client apply for the 30-day credit?
New clients can apply by submitting a standard company profile and references to our finance department (info@honestshipping.in). Approval is typically granted within 24-48 hours.
28. What currencies do you accept for payment?
We accept payments in US Dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), and Indian Rupees (INR) via bank wire transfer.
29. Can you handle cash-to-master (CTM) deliveries?
Yes, we can safely coordinate Cash-to-Master deliveries at all Indian ports following strict compliance and port authority regulations.
30. Are there any hidden port charges in your quotes?
